A Community Air Monitoring Plan (CAMP) was approved by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC) on August 26, 2026 as part of an Interim Remedial Measure (IRM) Work Plan.
The CAMP details air monitoring parameters, locations and frequency. Results of air monitoring are reported to the NYSDEC.
Yonkers Contracting Company (YCC) shall minimize the formation of dust during construction, all excavation, loading and transport of materials. The Contractor’s operations shall include dust minimization measures such as application of water to roadways and active work areas as required.
